What is SuperSeeds?
SuperSeeds is a positive youth intervention program that provides alternative approaches to discipline with a strong focus on youth development. The program serves schools and community organizations throughout Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky, with the goal of helping students improve academic success, social skills, emotional intelligence and overall behavior.
Who should participate in SuperSeeds?
Super Seeds is designed for students who may benefit from additional support, including those who:
Are at risk of suspension or disciplinary action
Need support with behavior, decision-making or conflict resolution
Would benefit from leadership development and mentorship
Parents, schools and educators are also supported through the program.
What is the goal of the SuperSeeds program?
The overall goal of SuperSeeds is to positively modify student behavior while helping youth build the skills they need to succeed academically, socially and emotionally. The program emphasizes personal accountability, growth and long-term success rather than punishment.
What topics and skills does SuperSeeds focus on?

What is the SuperSeeds Options Day Program?
The Options Day Program is an alternative to suspension that provides students with a full-day, real-world learning experience focused on consequences, accountability and future opportunities.
What happens during Options Day?
During Options Day, students participate in a series of guided experiences, including:
- For the justice system experience, students visit the Hamilton County Justice Center, where they:
Sit in the arraignment court
Speak with judges
Observe booking and intake processes
Tour the jail and learn what life is like while incarcerated
Speak directly with inmates about their life choices and consequences
- At the medical and trauma awareness experience, students visit the University of Cincinnati Medical Center for a guided hospital tour, including areas such as the ICU and Emergency Department. Trauma prevention and outreach coordinators discuss the medical consequences of youth violence and students hear from violence prevention professionals and victim advocates who share lived experiences and personal reflections.
