This program offers an exciting coeducational experience to interested and eligible local high school teens.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Students gain valuable insights into the day-to-day responsibilities of a variety of clinical and non-clinical healthcare jobs over the course of several months. Each session focuses on a specific service area, ranging from those in direct patient care to those in support services.
MULTIFACETED APPROACH
The program is led by adult advisors who work at UC Health in a variety of capacities. These dedicated employees facilitate the learning process for the Career Journeys sessions by promoting greater awareness and understanding within the healthcare fields through:
- Detailed career insights facilitated by current clinicians and support staff.
- Educational requirements needed for various healthcare positions.
- Behind-the-scenes tours to areas not available to the public.
- Virtual learnings and presentations.

SCHEDULE AND REGISTRATION
An in-person program is offered from September to March and meets twice a month from 6 to 8 p.m. Participation in each program will depend on availability, eligibility and space limitations.
