From support with stress, healthy eating, and more—we have events and classes that can help you feel your best.

All events and classes are led by UC Health Integrative Health providers. No referral needed—all are welcome! Registration is required.

Mind-Body Therapies

Stress, worry, and anxiety can take a toll on your health. These classes use mindfulness to calm the mind and restore balance.

Mind-Body Therapies

  • Mindful Mondays: A virtual guided mindfulness exercise to start your week with an intentional pause.
  • Mindfulness Meditation for Restorative Health (four-week series, virtual): Led by Barbara Walker, Ph.D., an Integrative Health and Performance Psychologist. Meets for one hour weekly on Microsoft Teams and covers:
    • Week 1: Getting started with mindfulness
    • Week 2: Preparing for mindful living
    • Week 3: Building resilience, compassion, and creativity
    • Week 4: Creating acceptance

Movement-Based Therapies

Gentle movement and breathwork can reduce stress, ease symptoms, and improve overall wellbeing.

Movement-Based Therapies

  • Tai Chi Therapy: Beginner-level class on Wednesdays incorporating slow, comfortable movements with breathing, mindfulness, and gentle stretching.
  • Tai Chi Form: Intermediate-level class on Thursdays focused on a longer sequence of Tai Chi movements along with self-care exercises and meditations.
  • Tai Chi for Parkinson’s Disease and Other Neurological Disorders: Beginner-level class designed for patients with Parkinson’s disease and other neurological disorders; slow, comfortable movements with breathing, mindfulness, and gentle stretching.
  • Yoga for MS and Other Neurological Disorders and Yoga for Cancer: Helps build strength, soothe the mind, improve posture, flexibility, and balance, sharpen concentration, and enable relaxation.
  • Gentle Yoga Therapy: Therapeutic, gentle class for those in treatment and into survivorship; aims to relieve fatigue, neuropathy, lymphedema, anxiety, and depressive symptoms. Ends with deep relaxation to encourage healing and improve vitality.
