Information about MS Yoga- Mat Class:

What is the Gentle Yoga Mat Class?

Yoga Therapy is the application of the mind-body technology of yoga for therapeutic benefit to accomplish relaxation, symptom relief, and healing through various modified, adapted, and/or simplified applications of breathing and mindfulness meditation (awareness) practices, guided relaxation (yoga nidra), guided imagery, and gentle movement (asana) to suit the capacity and needs of individual patients.

Our Gentle Yoga Mat Class goes beyond stretching your body, gentle yoga enables you to center your body, breath, and mind, to s t r e t c h the possibilities. Through the use of props and expert guidance, your individual needs will be addressed. Come practice with friends in our safe and welcoming space.

Anyone can do it!

The purpose of this energy and movement-based exercise is simply to move!  The forms can be modified to your current abilities and there is no prior experience required and all ages 18+ are welcome.

If you can breathe, you can do and benefit from yoga!

What to wear

Our classes are informal and do not require any special etiquette or dress code.  Just wear loose-fitting, comfortable clothing and flat-soled shoes are recommended.
