Favorite part of the job: I love the team based environment where I work! I am very much integrated into the “every day” of the ICU because my office in inside the ICU, so I spend a lot of time with the nurses, physicians, respiratory therapists, and of course the patients. I also really enjoy teaching and getting to see students and residents make connections regarding advanced topics as they progress through their experiences.

Caring for the smallest and most vulnerable patient populations at UC Health and seeing them come back to visit as toddlers is the most rewarding part of my job. I enjoy working as a member of the multidisciplinary neonatology team – a relatively new and rapidly changing area of clinical practice. I also have a passion for patient safety systems-level investigation and learning.
Hobbies: I love to cook, do anything outdoors, and travel.

Favorite part of the job: I enjoy working with all health care disciplines, especially physicians and nurses to improve patient care. Mostly, I look forward to learning something new every day at work. I learn from my patients and co-workers, which keeps my job interesting.
Hobbies: I spend most of my time playing with my three girls. I also enjoy gardening and watching sporting events, typically baseball, football and basketball.
