Jul. 30, 2021

CINCINNATI — UC Health’s West Chester Hospital has been named a 2021 Best Workplace in Ohio by Ohio Business Magazine for the fifth consecutive year.

This annually published list recognizes businesses across the state that are making a difference in their employees’ lives and within the community. The magazine accepts nominations from an organization’s own employees as well as local community residents to determine its honorees.

This is the fifth consecutive year that West Chester Hospital has been named to the magazine’s Best Workplaces in Ohio list. The hospital has also been recognized in 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020.

This achievement supports UC Health’s commitment to offer a supportive, meaningful and rewarding workplace environment for all employees.

“We are proud to know that our employees and members of our community continue to place us among the top workplaces in the state,” said Tom Daskalakis, chief administrative officer at West Chester Hospital. “It is truly our staff of dedicated professionals, from physicians to support personnel, who have built West Chester Hospital’s unique and supportive workplace environment that helps us carry out UC Health’s purpose of advancing healing and reducing suffering in our community.”

As part of its mission, UC Health continually strives to design and implement programs that will ensure a positive and supportive workplace environment for its employees. The results of this Best Workplaces in Ohio program confirm that these programs are having a positive impact within the UC Health organization.
