This class, taught by an International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), will provide parents with information and skills that will guide them through breastfeeding. Topics include what to expect after delivery, the physiology of breastfeeding, building milk supply, position-and-latch, newborn feeding cues and patterns, milk expression and pumping, returning to work, self-care and support tips for your partner. Your partner is welcome and encouraged to attend class with you.
Cost: $30.00 payable by cash or credit card on the day of the class
What to bring: Please bring a pen and paper to take notes. Feel free to bring any snacks and drinks you may need.
