We’re analyzing the lung tissue resected during surgery in terms of density and staple line formation which will be correlated with several clinical factors such as duration of the air leak postop. This will guide the clinicians in the decision of what stapling device to use in when extra precautions to avoid prolonged air leaks in the future.

All Pulmonary Wedge Resections
