Effect Of Tefillin (Phylacteries) On Changes In Heart Rate In Healthy People

We propose to study the effects of wearing tefillin (sometimes called phylacteries) on the arm. Tefillin are black leather boxes with leather straps that Orthodox Jewish men wear on their arm during prayer. We will measure changes in heart rate and parasympathetic tone using a strap that will be worn around the chest.

Criteria:

Healthy People Over The Age Of 18
