The West Chester Hospital Surgical Center provides a unique approach to surgery. We recognize that surgery is not the most pleasant of experiences and can be a significant interruption to a patient’s life, as well as the lives of their loved ones. It is our goal to make your surgery experience as simple, comfortable and positive as possible.
The Surgical Center is located on the campus of West Chester Hospital, and is an extension of the main hospital. All of the physicians who are credentialed to practice at the hospital may also bring patients to the Surgical Center, and many of our clinicians and staff members are cross-trained and are capable of performing most hospital procedures. You can rest easy knowing you are being cared for by the very best physicians and specialists in the region.
In addition to registered nurses caring for you, our patient support team includes pharmacists, phlebotomists, wound care specialists, physical, occupational and speech therapists, respiratory therapists, vascular access technicians, spiritual care providers, and social workers.
Outpatient Procedures Available at the Surgical Center Include:

- Cosmetic Surgery including face lift, blepharoplasty, abdominoplasty, rhinoplasty, facial reconstruction, breast augmentation and reduction, and more

The eight-bed, Joint Commission accredited facility is equipped with four operating rooms and two procedure rooms. In addition, for your convenience, a diagnostic imaging center, lab and medical office building are adjacent to the Surgical Center. Should a patient require additional observation, they may be admitted as an overnight patient in a comfortable, private suite where loved ones may visit. In some cases, patients may be transferred to the West Chester Hospital building for care.

Hours
The West Chester Hospital Surgical Center is open for surgery Monday through Thursday, from 7:30 a.m. – 5 p.m, with inpatient admissions on Mondays and Tuesdays.
Our Infusion/Transfusion Therapy is available seven days a week, by appointment.
Our Vascular Access Center is open Monday through Friday, by appointment.
