Looking to Do More?
If you’re interested in doing more, in addition to becoming a Friend of Tiny Hearts, here are a few ways you can support babies, parents and staff in the NICU. Have another idea? Let us know!
- Volunteer. We’re always looking for extra hands to support our programs and events.
- Donate in-kind items. Books, preemie and newborn clothing, baby equipment, such as swings, bouncy seats and mobiles, and blankets are just a few of the items that are always welcome. These items are used to help make our babies feel at home, and sometimes go home with babies in need.
Looking for a fun way to give back?
- Host a “baby” shower, and ask friends and family to purchase baby clothes, blankets or equipment to donate to UCMC’s NICU.
- Create a school challenge. Have classes or grades compete against one another to see how many items they can bring in for a NICU drive. We’re proud to partner with many schools in our community.
- Make, or donate, a meal that can be provided during our Parent Information Night. Once a month, NICU staff and graduate parents meet with families of babies currently in the NICU to answer questions and provide support. And every month, we provide a meal for the parents in attendance.
If you have questions about any of the above, please call us at (513) 585-TINY or email tinyhearts@uchealth.com.
Corporate Sponsorship
We welcome support from local organizations and companies interested in giving back to the community. Please contact Tricia Mullins at (513) 584-8540 to learn more about corporate giving opportunities to support our NICU.
