UC Health and the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine will once again celebrate the life and legacy of Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Mark your calendars and RSVP to attend the 47th annual Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration Ceremony.

Inspired by the Dr. King quote, “Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about the things that matter,” we will be honoring the outstanding contributions of three trailblazers in the world of journalism and media.

· Courtis Fuller, Anchor/Reporter, WLWT-TV
· Lincoln Ware, Host of “The Lincoln Ware Show”

Our keynote speaker this year is the dynamic, award-winning broadcast journalist, Dorothy Tucker, president of the National Association of Black Journalists.

We will also be joined by emcee the Honorable Fanon A. Rucker; UC Health President and CEO Richard P. Lofgren, MD; and Andrew Filak, MD, dean of the UC College of Medicine and senior vice president for Health Affairs.

Other program highlights include performances by the Rockdale Academy Choir, P&G Voices of Destiny Ensemble and Deuces Musik. Rev. Damon Lynch Jr. will offer the invocation and benediction.
