This class will provide parents with the following information:

The basics of feeding, diapering, bathing and comforting, as well as recognizing the signs of illness.

Topics including what to expect after delivery, the physiology of breastfeeding, building milk supply, position-and-latch, newborn feeding cues and patterns, milk expression and pumping, returning to work, self-care and support tips for your partner.

Your partner is welcome and encouraged to attend class with you.

Cost: $30.00 per couple.

What to bring:

Pen and paper to take notes.

Feel free to bring any snacks and drinks you may need. The main hospital cafe is closed during class time, but there are vending machines and a water fountain available on A-Level for your convenience.
