Preparing for Successful Breastfeeding

This class, taught by an IBCLC, international board-certified lactation consultant, will provide parents with information and skills that will guide them through breastfeeding. Topics include what to expect after delivery, physiology of breastfeeding, building a milk supply, position and latch, newborn feeding cues and patterns, milk expression and pumping, returning to work, self-care, and support tips for your partner. Birth partners are welcomed and encouraged to attend with you.

Cost: $30.00 per couple.

Childbirth Education Classes may be held online in accordance with current COVID-19 restrictions.
Registered participants will be notified prior to class if the class is being held virtually.
Participants will receive a Microsoft TEAMS link the day of class to join the meeting virtually.
