Step one: Referral received
How Rapid Access Works
Step two: first visit
You will meet a lung cancer specialist who reviews your records and listens to your concerns. We will work with you to determine if an in-person or virtual visit would be best for your situation. We will order any necessary imaging scans, additional biopsies, or lab work—right away.

Step three: team review
Medical oncology, radiation oncology, pulmonology and thoracic surgery physicians review your case together and agree on the best path forward.

We explain options, timing and what to expect. You leave with next steps in writing and a direct line to a lung cancer team member for any questions.

Your lung cancer nurse navigator schedules your tests and follow-ups, tracks results and can connect you with dedicated oncology staff specializing in social work, nutrition, counseling, palliative/supportive care, integrative medicine and other services.
