Commission on Cancer (CoC)-accredited cancer program
In 2022, the University of Cincinnati Cancer Center received full three-year accreditation from the American College of Surgeon’s Commission on Cancer (CoC). The UC Cancer Center is one of the commission’s five oldest cancer programs. To earn voluntary CoC accreditation, a cancer program must meet 34 CoC quality care standards, be evaluated every three years through a survey process, and maintain levels of excellence in the delivery of comprehensive patient-centered care.
Becker's Hospital Review
We’ve been named alongside 59 programs as one of 60 hospitals and health systems in the U.S. with great oncology programs headed into 2023, according to Becker’s Hospital Review, for developing leading-edge, novel therapies and research that have improved outcomes and access to care for cancer patients.

Named a “high performing site” by the National Cancer Institute’s National Clinical Trials Network, the University of Cincinnati Cancer Center offers nearly 200 leading-edge clinical trial options for patients throughout their care for all stages of disease.
