People with cancer can face medical challenges outside of regular clinic hours. The Oncology Extended Care Clinic offers people with cancer the opportunity to be treated by your dedicated care team members right here at the University of Cincinnati Cancer Center, and requires an appointment requested by a member of your oncology care team.

When to Call the Clinic
Give us a call if you or a loved one are facing after hours medical issues such as:
- Pain
- Fever
- Nausea and/or vomiting
- Diarrhea or constipation
- Dehydration
- Fatigue/dizziness/weakness
- Cold or flu-like symptoms
- Rash
- Home infusion pump concerns
Oncology Extended Care Clinic
When to Seek Emergency Care
In some cases, patients with more serious conditions will need care in the emergency department. As always, call 911 for life-threatening issues, such as chest pain, difficulty breathing, stroke symptoms, severe allergic reactions or a change in mental status.

The Blood Cancer Healing Center offers an adult FACT-accredited academic blood and marrow transplant program, with access to National Marrow Donor Program products and the Center for International Blood and Marrow Transplant Research. Fully accredited for autologous, allogeneic transplant and CAR T-cell therapy.
