Cancer Seminar: Frankly Speaking About Treatment Side Effects

Join Deborah Conradi, RN, BSN, oncology patient coordinator for West Chester Hospital and Kerry Caito, LISW, group facilitator for Cancer Support Community, who will talk about how to manage the often-challenging side effects of cancer treatment.

Conradi will discuss strategies to help manage common side effects such as fatigue, hair loss, anemia, infection and pain. Caito will discuss how to manage emotional distress and how to optimize quality of life during and after cancer treatment. A light lunch will be provided. All attendees will receive gift bags filled with self-care items to help with side effects.

All seminars are held in the cafeteria, located on level A of West Chester Hospital, 7700 University Drive, West Chester, Ohio 45069. Registration is recommended, but not required.
