PlantPureNation

“PlantPure Nation” focuses on the efforts of nutritional scientist and author T. Colin Campbell, PhD, who inspires Kentucky state Rep. Tom Riner to propose a pilot program documenting the health benefits of a plant-based diet. When industry lobbyists kill the pilot program, Campbell’s oldest son, Nelson, decides to try his own grassroots approach in his hometown of Mebane, North Carolina.

Rekha Chaudhary, MD, associate professor in the UC Division of Hematology Oncology, Department of Internal Medicine, and UC Health Integrative Medicine physician, will be featured in the film as well as images of UC Medical Center.
