Join us at West Chester Hospital for a free community seminar focused on gynecologic cancers and breast health/breast cancer, presented by the region’s leading physician specialists.

These seminars will also feature information and education from¬†Pink Ribbon Girls, a local¬†organization that helps balance the fear and uncertainty that breast and other women’s reproductive cancers bring to individuals and families by providing free direct services, education and support.

Topics will include:

  • What are the most common gynecologic cancers and what are the risk factors that women should be aware of?
  • How can one recognize early signs and symptoms?
  • What are appropriate screening guidelines for gynecologic cancers?
  • What advanced treatments are available today?
  • What are common non-cancerous conditions that can affect the breasts?
  • How is breast cancer diagnosed and what are the most current treatment options?
  • What role does medical imaging play in identifying breast health issues and breast cancer?
  • How do radiologists use test results to diagnose problems/breast cancer?
  • What are the latest advancements in breast imaging?

Representatives from UC Health Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery Division will also be available to share important information about sexual health and pelvic floor issues that can impact women facing a cancer diagnoses.
