Our multidisciplinary ALS and multidisciplinary muscular dystrophy clinics distinguish UC Health locally, regionally and nationally. Our clinic teams consist of a neuromuscular physician, cardiologist, pulmonologist, physical therapist, respiratory therapist, social worker, genetic counselor and nurse coordinator.

With decades of expertise, the UC Health Neuromuscular Center is dedicated to advancing care for all neuromuscular disorders, from common back pain to complex conditions like muscular dystrophy, myasthenia gravis and ALS. The Neuromuscular Center houses the region’s only Hugh H. Hoffman ALS/Motor Neuron Disease multidisciplinary clinic and Muscular Dystrophy Association Multidisciplinary Clinic. Our team has pioneered clinical trials, leading to FDA approvals and operates multiple specialized labs on site.
