Older adults are often a prime targets for con-artists utilizing telemarketing to defraud their victims. To empower older adults, West Chester Hospital will host a seminar focused on telemarketing fraud offered by the Bright Horizons Program.

The free seminar will be presented by West Chester Hospital Police Officer Rob Lee on Wednesday, Sept. 16, 2015. Officer Lee is a certified crime specialist who has over 15 years of experience in law enforcement, with seven of those years spent working for UC Health. Topics that Officer Lee will discuss include: What is Telemarketing Fraud?  What are common signs of telemarketing fraud? What are helpful tips to protect you from becoming a victim of fraud?

Bright Horizons is a free West Chester Hospital program for resident’s ages 55 and older who live in the Greater Cincinnati and Dayton communities.  The program is designed to help older adults take an active role in their health care.
