First Visit
What to expect during the first appointment
A care partner must attend a patient’s first appointment, which will take about 3 hours. During the first half, the care partner will meet with a social worker while the patient takes cognitive assessments. Then, a provider will meet with the patient and care partner to learn more and work on next steps together.
