Dr. Guanciale possesses expertise in several critical areas of spinal health, including sports-related spine injuries, with over 20 years of experience caring for the Cincinnati Bengals and University of Cincinnati athletes. Dr. Guanciale also specializes in adult cervical, thoracic, and lumbar degenerative disorders and traumatic bone injuries of the spine. His career has been marked by a deep-seated commitment to offering comprehensive care for a wide spectrum of spinal issues.

One of the hallmarks of Dr. Guanciale's patient care approach is his active involvement in clinical trials. As the lead investigator in a recent clinical trial focused on enhancing the outcomes of spinal bone fusions, he firmly believes in the pivotal role that clinical trials play in advancing patient care, offering the most advanced and effective treatments.

Throughout his career, Dr. Guanciale has been the recipient of prestigious surgical and teaching awards that underscore his dedication to patient care and education. His extensive training at renowned programs across the country, including a five-year tenure at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation and a Spine Fellowship at the Kerlin-Jobe Orthopaedic Institute under the guidance of Dr. Robert Watkins, affiliated with USC, sets him apart in the field.

Dr. Guanciale's work is primarily concentrated within the Orthopaedic Spine Division, where he collaborates closely with a team of experts to ensure the best possible care for patients.
